Celebrating anniversary: WKT looks back on 70 years of success story
Sprockhövel, 19.09.2025 — Last Friday, WKT Westfälische Kunststofftechnik GmbH celebrated its 70th anniversary with a festive event at the company headquarters on Hombergstraße. Nils Zimmermann, who is continuing what his grandfather initiated in 1954/55, and his two colleagues from management, Oliver Denz and Thorsten Kattenstein, welcomed numerous guests from Germany and abroad — including long-standing customers, suppliers and business partners, who accepted the invitation and made the day a special moment in the company's history.
Under the proven company motto “See the future through our pipes. ” The event offered a multi-faceted review of seven decades of corporate development as well as an inspiring outlook on emerging projects and visions.

In her speech, Mayor Sabine Noll personally congratulated the anniversary: “On behalf of the Council and Administration, I would like to congratulate you on an impressive anniversary. [...] WKT is an integral part of securing our infrastructure, e.g. drinking water and gas supply and cold local heating networks. ”
The anniversary celebration underlines WKT's central role as a reliable partner in the industry and as an employer in the region. With innovative strength, consistency and a strong network, the company is optimistic about the future.
